Who we are
swgoh-api is an independent API service for Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes™ data, used by Discord bots, guild tools and fan sites. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Electronic Arts, Capital Games, Lucasfilm or Disney.

Requests from rights holders
If you hold rights in Galaxy of Heroes or in content our service makes available and you object to how swgoh-api accesses or serves it, email legal@swgoh-api.dev with:
- your name, organisation and, if you act for someone else, your authority to do so;

what you object to, as precisely as you can: an API route (for example
/v1/localization), a feature, a page or a specific app built on the service; - the rights or terms you rely on (for example copyright, trademark or the game's terms of service);
- what you are asking us to do: remove content, stop serving a route, suspend an app, or something else;
- how to reach you, and a statement that the information in your request is accurate.
What happens next
- Acknowledgement. We aim to reply within 3 business days with a reference for your request.
- Interim action. Where a request is credible and the harm is ongoing, we act before our review is finished. The service has switches that turn off a whole kind of access, a single API route, an individual app or a developer organisation within minutes, and we can unlink a game account and destroy its stored session.
- Review and decision. We tell you what we decided and why, normally within 10 business days. If we need more information, we ask.
- Notice to affected developers. When we suspend an app or a route, developers who depend on it are told what changed and how to contact us, unless the law or the request requires otherwise.
Requests about a game account
Players control their own links. Anyone who linked a game account can revoke an app or unlink the account at any time in the player portal, which destroys the stored game session immediately. If you are the game's publisher and need a specific account unlinked, or you believe an account was linked by someone who does not control it, write to legal@swgoh-api.dev with the ally code and we will act on it.
If your app was affected
If you build on swgoh-api and an action under this policy affected your app, reply to the notice or write to legal@swgoh-api.dev. Tell us why you think the action was a mistake; we review every response and restore access when it was.
